♡ About Me ♡
Hello there!
My name is Eloise (known as Tweek online), and I'm a 2D artist from Australia! I specialise in character work and sprites and have an intense passion for them. I have been designing characters for as long as I've been able to draw, and I feel it is an incredibly important part of my life. Also, I really really like clowns. My art and branding focuses specifically on light-hearted, dreamy colours and themes of childhood nostalgia as I find them comforting and easy to indulge in! I dabble in a bit of clownery as well and have a huge emphasis on silly fun in my art and all of my work!My friends would describe me as amibitious, passionate, a creative problem solver, great at networking, and attentive!
The most important thing you need to know about me is that I love Rantaro Amami from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. My love for Rantaro reinforces how strongly I feel fictional characters can aid and change a person's life, and it's a dream to do the same with my characters some day!I basically professionally collect Rantaro merchandise and enjoy making my own, as shown on my personal shop! Ask me about Rantaro and I will immediately be fond of you. Thanks to my love of Danganronpa, I have developed a skill for mimicking other art styles, Danganronpa included!
I have studied Game Design at AIE for two years (2022/23) and through that have learned how to translate my artistic skills into UI/UX designs, as well as practicing character designing and sprites. My art has been an important part of my life growing up and through that I have accomplished:
♡ A small-scale self-published novel.
♡ Channel art for Youtuber "Sapnap" (2020-21).
♡ Winning an art competition in primary and having an original character painted on the building.
♡ Selling merchandise of my own characters and pre-existing (at conventions such as OZ ComicCon)!
♡ Winning the "Principal's Art Award" in my graduating year for my comic on anxiety.
♡ Having art showcased in art galleries alongside family and school.

Skills learned and exhibited:
Through selling my art in in-person events I've learned a lot of good communication and customer service skills. I regularly engage in conversation with likeminded individuals and make a lot of connections through other artists.Through selling my art in general and creating merch I've learned how to mold my style between chibi, marketable designs and more detailed art for my clients.

♡ OBJECTS LOST AND DETERMINED ♡
Pilot episode:
What is it?
Objects Lost and Determined is a video series I made on a whim one day. It takes place in an unknown location with a cast of 10 competitors and one host. None of the competitors know why they're there or who they really are, and as they're forced to participate in this challenge they never signed up to, they have to figure out what they're doing there - and who they are. Each episode is entirely written, storyboarded, and drawn by me. Because it's a personal project and I'm still learning animation, the style of the show is a polished storyboard kind of style.
Meet the cast!
Skills learned and exhibited:
Since this entire episode was written, drawn, and produced by me - I learned a lot about the process on my own.I essentially storyboarded the entire thing on my own (resulting in about 1.5K frames!) and edited it all together. I learned a lot about boarding movement and making it fluent enough for a viewer to understand the point of the movement.I also learned a lot about managing voice actors and setting deadlines for them.

♡ CAN ANYONE NEAR THE EXIT? ♡
Prologue:
IN DEVELOPMENT.
What is it?
Can Anyone Near The Exit is an in progress video game inspired by two separate genres - "object shows" and "killing games". A group of characters wake up in an unknown location - all brought there for the same reason. Except, however, our protagonist - Puzzle Piece - who has no memory before waking up at all. Together with the others, Puzzle Piece must quite literally figure out why they don't fit in this story - all whilst having to deal with grief and competition. This project was thought up by me, but is being written in collaboration with Chro (@ChroIsLost) and Jace (@Applerose301), as well as with programming help from Ryan @BendaDev), and more.
Meet the cast!
Skills learned and exhibited:
I'm the main creator and producer of this game - and it's the biggest team I've worked with. Because of this, I have learned a lot of valuable things about project management, deadlines, and working with a team of people all around the world. As for my own skills, I have been designing characters, making art, creating concepts to give to my artists (for UI, CG arts, backgrounds and sets) and writing a script/plot.

♡ DANGANRONPA V2 ♡
What is it?
Danganronpa V2: Hope Rising is an ongoing, interactive story based on the video game Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony that used to take place on Instagram (but is now being made into a playable game). Due to my passion for the game and one of its characters, I have decided to take said characters' story into my own hands. Rantaro Amami is the Ultimate Survivor, meaning he had partaken in the game before "V3" - V2, hence the name and nature of this project. The story focuses on a new cast of 15 characters (all designed by me) alongside Rantaro, and walks the audience through what his first killing game was like through the eyes of Haruto Matsuda, the Ultimate Aviator.
Story posts:
BenThe plot of DRV2HR begins with our protagonist, Haruto Matsuda, discovering the game's special perk - a phone with access to the outside world via social media. The catch? He can't tell the others.I told the beginning of the story through Haruto's posts as he takes photos of the events conspiring and even asks for audience input in the caption of the posts. People enjoyed the characters and the story so much that I figured I would try to make it into a more accessible medium - beginning my adventure into developing this story as an actual playable videogame alongside my friend @BendaDev.
Skills learned and exhibited:
This project has been of great importance to me since I began it, and it's also been through a lot of iterations.Through the original method of drawing posts every day for the Instagram account - I focused a lot on my speed, and my ability to mimic the Danganronpa art style. Sometimes I ended up posting multiple posts a day, all drawn within that same day.I also learned a lot about character design and development, as the strength of Danganronpa games is always within the cast of characters. This is my strongest cast of original characters and the most well recieved by the public due to their designs and interactions with one another - spawning a lot of fan art, fan fiction, and discussion.

♡ The Walking Time Machine ♡
What is it?
The Walking Time Machine is a visual novel I made based on the show Final Space in my free time in 2022. I had created a character named Whiskey and inserted her into a continuation of the show's story - translating it into a visual novel via CloudNovel. I created the sprites, backgrounds, and writing for the VN. No coding was required as CloudNovel was easily accessible.
Watch a playthrough of the game here!
(Thumbnails made by me!)
Skills learned and exhibited:
I did a great deal of sprite work and this was one of my first major projects involving it, so I had a lot of experience creating different sprites for the characters.I also learned a lot about the format and flow of visual novels, as I wrote and produced the entire thing on my own using a website called CloudNovel.Because this was a single person project, and crossed over multiple weeks of planning, drawing and then putting it all together, I learned and exhibited a lot of my resillience and self preserverence, creating my own deadlines for myself and keeping myself motivated through the long work days.

♡ Fiend FInder ♡
What is it?
Fiend Finder is a project me and a few others worked on concepting as part of our Production for Clients assignment at AIE. We were given the brief to make a game about romance, and thus, Fiend Finder was born. The concept of the game is a simple dating game involving dating-app text conversations and further in-person dates with a monster of your choice. The cast compiled of four characters all visually designed by me and concepted as a group. The project was planned to have a playable build but due to complications was not able to be finished, resulting in our Figma prototype of what the game would have been!
Meet the cast!
(Clicking the image will send you to their full sprite pages)
Carmilla
Carmilla is a vampire that's more interested in books than romance. She ended up being our main focus for the timeframe we had, designing the prototype around her conversations as she was the most favoured among our peers. The way to romance her was by giving her a chance to talk about the books she loves!
Skills learned and exhibited:
This was one of my first times doing sprite work with a team of people, as well as designing characters with other peoples' ideas in mind, so I learned a lot about giving and recieving feedback and applying it to my work.I also practiced more sprite work and started varying the poses - like including different arm and tail movements - making my sprite work more advanced than before.

♡ SPECTRE INSPECTOR ♡
What is it?
Spectre Inspector is a student-made game made as a result of year 2 final production at AIE. The game is a silly creature collectathon themed game, where you are an energy-drink obsessed, company-infiltrating Rookie, with a goal to catch all of the ghosts for your own secret agenda. Your "co-worker" Arlo chimes in with advice every now and again, and pops up in the form of sprites made by me! I had the pleasure of doing a lot of the UI/2D work for this game, and had the absolute honour writing and designing Arlo from the ground up. I was also in charge of promotion and socials! I would consider this the best game I have ever worked on, and am very proud of our team and what we created!
Screenshots of my UI in game!
Agent Arlo
Agent Arlo is my pride and joy. He is possibly one of my favourite characters I have created to date, and I am beyond happy with how the team handled him and implementing him into the game.He has set dialogue lines that are triggered upon the players' actions (e.g. opening a tool). When he speaks, a pop-up appears on the bottom right of the screen showcasing his sprites.I had the pleasure of designing Arlo and his personality, writing his lines, drawing his sprites, and communicating with his voice actor to bring him to life!
Skills learned and exhibited:
This game was my first time having a large influence on a fully completed game project with a team of nearly 10 people. It was a good experience for me to take a lot of people's concepts for the ghost and create them into my own style - which became the game's style.I also had the opportunity to create sprites, cutscenes, and prop designs - which broadened my skills and had me designing for things I didn't have an opportunity to do before!

♡ THE JOURNEY HOME ♡
What is it?
The Journey Home is a 200 page novel I wrote in 2018 as a hobby. Since then, it has had major revisions and even an entire re-write (done in 2021). This cast of characters and the story in itself are the first fully fleshed original characters I had ever made, making me aware of my love for character creating, and thus have a very special place in my heart. The story is extremely teenage-romance rated but I hope to revisit the story and make it grander some day in the future. I put a lot of time into these characters, and the full story is available for free on Discord and hard copy on Amazon.
Josh and Michael
The story's main focus is the relationship between the protagonist, Josh, and Michael - a boy who took Josh in when he was kicked out to the streets. The story is about their development and the challenges they overcome together. The next time I revisit the story, I will likely make their challenges a little more realistic, and refine their characters separately to make their time together shine more.
Skills learned and exhibited:
This is (as of 2024) my only fully completed novel formatted project, which means I learned a lot about writing in the process of making it! Because it went through so many changes and has been a concept since 2018, I've learned a lot about adjusting the story and taking criticism, which has lead it to become better and better each time.I plan on fully rehashing the entire story with my knowledge from 2021-now, and practicing this alongside studying and other work responsibilities, to practice my time management skills!

♡ storyboards ♡
Storyboard/animatic work!
Storyboarding and 2D animation are things I have a strong passion for, but not much education and experience in. I have dabbled in it a few times and have a lot of fun doing it, so this is a skill I would love to expand on more!
♡ games ♡
Turbo Mech Boxing
Turbo Mech Boxing was our first-year production game at AIE. It was our first time making a game in a team compiled of designers, programmers, and artists, and I had the pleasure of creating a lot of the UI sprites for the game!
Killer Klowns
Killer Klowns is a VR shooter game made for our VR assignment at AIE. This was another game made by a team from multiple streams, and I was given the task of making the sprites for the signs and targets in the game.
♡ CHARACTER DESIGN ♡
♡ polished art ♡
Polished artwork examples!
Considering I do art in my own time, I have a lot of experience making fully polished art! Due to how busy I can be, sometimes I have to make these on a tight deadline, and have been commended on how fast I can make polished artwork! With my art I aim to achieve vibrance and expressiveness, as I think the beauty of cartoon art is how vivid it can appear!
